Do my guests need an app or an account?

No. Guests scan the QR, type the PIN, add a first name and upload straight from the browser. iPhone, Android, tablets, and that one uncle's ancient handset. Nothing persists across events unless they choose to leave an email.

How long does setup take?

About 60 seconds. Name the event, pick a tier, choose your dates, and the QR plus PIN are ready to print or display. The Free tier needs no card.

How is this different from a shared folder or link?

A shared folder is a dump. Say Cheese is the event: PIN-gated access, your branding, guest names on every photo, moderation, a Live Wall for the room, and one album at the end.

What if a guest loses the PIN?

Guests in the room can look at the table card. Hosts can also resend the PIN from the dashboard, post it on the Live Wall, or rotate to a fresh one mid-event.

Can I try it before I commit?

Yes. The Free tier costs nothing and runs a full event with 50 photos, 20 videos and a week-long window, no card needed. If you are planning something bigger, book a 20-minute call and we will walk you through a mock event.

Who can see the photos?

Only people with the QR and the current PIN. There is no public discovery, no search indexing, and no cross-event browsing. Every event is its own sealed album.

Can I hide specific photos?

Yes. Every upload has a visibility state. Hide it from the album, hide it from the Live Wall, or both, and restore it later if you change your mind.

Do guests keep access after the event?

Guests who leave an email get a magic link back into any event they attended while its album is live. Guests who do not stay strictly event-scoped and drop off when the event ends.

What do you store about my guests?

Why one-off pricing, not a subscription?

Because most events are one-night events. You pay for the event, walk away with the photos, and there is no monthly drag. Brand customers running year-round programmes can talk to us.

Do you charge per guest?

No. Every paid tier includes unlimited guests. We charge for the event, the storage, the lifecycle, and the features.

Can I upgrade an event mid-flight?

Yes. If your Classic event is filling up faster than expected, upgrade to Premium in the dashboard and your limits move up immediately. Photos already uploaded stay exactly where they are.

What is the difference between HD and original exports?

HD exports compress to a sensible size for sharing. Originals are the exact file the guest uploaded, untouched. Every paid tier includes both.

Can I get a refund if the event is cancelled?

What is the Live Wall exactly?

A full-screen surface that shows new guest uploads on a TV, projector, or second monitor in real time. You open a URL, set it fullscreen, and point a screen at the room.

Do I need a separate device?

No. Any browser on any device that can open a URL. Most hosts run it from a laptop into an HDMI cable. Smart TVs work too.

What if a guest uploads something I do not want on screen?

Use approval mode and nothing goes live until a curator says so. Or moderate softly and hide individual photos in one click without removing them from the album.

Whose branding is on the screen?

Yours. Custom event title, cover image, accent colour, and optional watermark. There is no Say Cheese chrome on the screen.

How does a redemption code work?

Each card carries a single-use code. The recipient creates an event, types the code at checkout, and the tier unlocks straight away. They never see a price.

Can I personalise the card?

Yes. Add a sender name, a message, and a delivery date. The card arrives at the time you choose, in your name, with the message in your words.

Codes are good for twelve months from purchase. Once redeemed, the event tier runs its own lifecycle as normal.

What happens to the photos after the event?

You download the whole event in one click, HD or originals depending on tier. Media stays live for your tier's window, then it is archived. Nothing is ever public.

How long does the album stay up?

Free keeps the album for 7 days, Classic for 3 months, and Premium for 12 months. Uploads and storage run from your event date.
